Reconciliation and Reporting say why; this guide shows the calls, reconciliation under the same Tx numbers. Reconciliation is risk’s to run and release; every report is a read. $RISK, $APPROVER and $TOKEN are bearers for risk, an approver and any reader.

Reconciliation

Run it

A run reads the ledger since the last one against the plans and the outside statements, and answers its report: 201, with Location to the run. Runs also start on their own: on a schedule, and whenever a statement arrives (POST /v1/external-statements, see NAV feed and oracles).

The verdict says whether the book is in order, since when, and what is held, and names no finding: it is what a monitor or an issuer’s own system reads. The findings stay with risk, operations and the auditor.

A blocking finding stops the book

This step needs no call. A finding that stops the book holds the asset, so its distributions, redemptions and new orders are refused instrument-held. A reserve short of its cover holds its backed instrument, whose new mints are refused while its redemptions go on. Each is announced, as reconciliation.finding and reconciliation.hold, and a short cover as reserve.cover-low too (Events and webhooks).

Tx 1 · The registrar burns back its own mint

Where the finding is a mint the registrar made to itself, it burns the units back on its DA Registry, naming the run’s id in the burn’s reference, and the next run explains the burn by that run.

Release a hold

Risk asks for the release, and two other approvers sign it, neither of them an auditor. A newer statement that agrees clears the finding but never the hold.

Reports

Every report is a read pinned to one ledger point: ?at=<offset>, or ?asOf=<instant> for the ledger as it stood then. Its figures all agree with one another, and the same read repeated later answers the same.

  • The cap table has a line per registry account: the holder of record, the beneficial owner, units available and blocked, and the share of the units outstanding. Each line also gives its value at the asset’s price, the units open orders will move in and out, and what holds each lock: an allocation for a settlement, a burn request for a redemption, or another lock by its context. The CSV has a row per line, naming the asset, its ISIN and the point read.
  • A statement is per instrument and calendar month, or over the window you give: opening and closing units, each valued at the price then, the settlements, delivered subscriptions and distribution payouts. A tax statement gives each distribution of the year: gross, withheld, net, the payout and what was carried, the record and payment dates, and what the provision settlement confirmed of the withholding once it has.
  • An investor reads only its own statements and tax statements, with its own bearer; another holder’s are refused, and the cap table is not an investor’s to read.
  • The engine computes every figure in the ledger’s own arithmetic, so show each figure as served and never recompute it.
